I want my summer back.

I was typing a 5-page paper on Thursday night due Friday and my computer decided to lag. I would type a sentence and the words would take several seconds to catch up. ASGADSGH. Then I had to make 23 copies of this essay so my class could brutalize and rip it apart workshop it Monday. [/english class woes]

But hey, good news. I'm doing pretty well in Japanese class. (wth Betty, that's a given.) XDD You know how there's always this annoying kid that thinks he knows everything and blurts every answer out? Yeah, there's one in my Japanese class. D: Anyway! We get to do a skit over.. pretty much anything we want, so here's a rundown of what my group came up with:

My two partners are American sumo wrestlers lost in deserted Tokyo (no way that's possible XD) and need to be in Okinawa. I get to be random characters who get in their way. Or something like that. XD Here's part of our script so far. Most of it sounds choppy and elementary-like, but that's to be expected! XD B is sumo wrestler number 1 and M is sumo wrestler number 2.

B + M: We're lost!!
B: And hey, there's no one here.
M: Duh. They're all in Okinawa. But the question is, how do we get there?
B: We will get there by boat.
M: That's nice. Where do we get this 'boat'.
B: [holds up very little money] We will buy one.

[They both enter my awesome boat store.]

Me: Welcome~! :D
M: Who are you and what did you do with all of the people?
Me:
Me: I sell sailboats.
M: How much is the cheapest boat?
Me: [insert outrageous price]
B + M: Damn, sayonara!

[They both leave my awesome boat store.]

B: Let's steal a boat. We don't have enough cash.
M: Dude, we probably shouldn't.
B: Then how else will we get there?
M:
M: You're right.
B: It's 2 against 1. We should be able to take her.
M: OK. Follow my lead! Ichi! Ni! San!

[They both break down the door of my awesome boat store even though they just walked in a few minutes ago.]

Me: [screams in shock and faints damsel-in-distress-like]

[They steal a boat and off on the waters they go. But hey wait, I wake up and chase them with a hidden jetboat. Unfortunately the two forget that they're sumo wrestlers and their weight makes them sink.]

We stopped plotting there but this is quite massive already. LOL. I have no idea how we're going to get this translated or even get the props for this. I think it's funny that I'm the best at speaking yet I have the least lines. I probably won't be able to keep a straight face though. XD Other groups have simple shopping skits and we have this over-the-top action-film thing. B-san said we should get producers to hire us. Rofl.

Letsee, I've also made a couple of wallpapERRS! And yay for Daylight Savings. One extra hour of sleep! *o*

You know how there's always this annoying kid that thinks he knows everything and blurts every answer out?
There are a lot of times that this kind of situation nearly happened to me >___< Though I really know the correct answer, I try as much as possible to 'bite my tongue hard' so I don't end up leaking it~

And your skit XDDD Poor your awesome boat store ;D LMAO. And I'd love to hear what will happen to M and B after they, uh, sank down slowly :)

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah~, I'm actually the opposite. Teachers will ask for answers and I know it, yet I doubt myself and don't say anything. Then later I find out I was right and wish I said the answer. If that makes sense. XD But this guy is like "teacher's pet" kind of annoying. >:[

XDD I know! The poor door. I'll let you know if we decided to expand it some more or not. But really, at this rate we could start our own series. LOL.

[identity profile] maiisaki.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 10:20 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, this happens too (how many times, I guess ;D), actually it happens when I hold back myself and not answering it. When the teacher says '-----' then I'll go "Aaah!" inside my heart. But yeah, those kind of people do exist~

My version: M-san and B-san finally realized, that they didn't need boat anymore to get to Okinawa. Since they were in the ocean already, why not swimming then XDD *failure*

At least your skit sounds much more better with my M-role which I had this morning anddd, didn't go as expectations.

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahaha, your version's funny. XD Actually, I'm not sure that they'll make it if they swim. They could definitely just float their way to shore though. LOL.

Aww, sorry to hear!

[identity profile] kawarashii.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 02:44 pm (UTC)(link)

Ohh yeah. Well, I'll see how much I could translate on my own + getting Sensei to translate some first. XDD

Your skit sounds like something people on crack came up with. I LIKE :D And it made me think of my french oral when my friend and I had to talk about sports. The result was... not pretty XD;

(Uh, holler if you need help with the translation? I'm no genius, but all those japanese lessons have to count for something, otherwise omg what have I been doing with my parents' money D: LOL.)

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
YES FOR CRACK SKITS~ :D Yeah, I remember doing skits for Spanish class as well but they just weren't as much fun. XD

(*o*! I'm glad I have you. &hearts Lemme see if I can translate any myself (lol) and I'll definitely let you know if I need you to be my slave translator. :DD)

i'm actually doing a skit in my japanese class right now! ours is based around Sailor Moon though^^
We have to perform it on Wednesday, I hope I can memorize my lines in time ToT
good luck to both of us!

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-02 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)

You know how there's always this annoying kid that thinks he knows everything and blurts every answer out?
Every class has them, I think. I can only name one in a few of my classes, but it gets others to snicker whenever they hear the name. LOL. XD

And the script sounds cool! It's so unique and funny and awesome and full of crack. I wouldn't be able to think of that D:

Good luck! It's going to be awesome I bet. :D

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
XD They really are annoying, aren't they?

Actually, at first, our script was pretty bland. Our brainstorming pattern was like this: movie -> sumo wrestling match -> sumo wrestlers who get lost -> sumo wrestlers who get lost so they end up seeing a movie instead -> the crackiest sumo wrestlers in the world. LOL.

Thank you, dear! :D

[identity profile] panthera-mort.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
skits sounds really funny!
hope you had fun doing it &hearts
the kid that blurts out all the answer? is he annoying?
O_o

ohh. and about the comp lagging, just restart, it'll be better i think...? (>.<)

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-06 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
XD We haven't done it yet. We're still in the 'writing the script' process. Sensei hasn't even told us when we're performing it yet. Lol. I probably will have fun, though~

Oh god, yes. Like, he'll finish tests really quickly, right? And there's a Listening part where the teacher will ask us several questions and we have to write down our answer on our test. He'll ask the teacher if he could get the questions early (outside in the hall) or something. Then he sprints out of class. I'm like, Dude, does it hurt you to wait another five minutes to answer the questions with the rest of the class? I'm usually first or second to finish yet I still wait. >3> It irritates me so. [/rant]

XD Yeah, probably. But my computer lags so much that it takes forever to restart too. LOL. So I just hung in there 'til I finished the paper.

[identity profile] panthera-mort.livejournal.com 2008-11-12 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
ooh, the dude sounds annoying >.>
good luck with the skit and the paper :)

[identity profile] twistedhalo04.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Your skit! ROFL

Somehow I get the image of Sakuraiba... or this is me and too much Odoroki... hahaha

[identity profile] hakka-candy.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Now that you mention it, I could really see Sakuraiba! LOL. They must have been in the back of my mind while I was writing this with my group. XDD;;

[identity profile] twistedhalo04.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL You were subconsciously channeling them :DD
