Semi-Hiatus!
Jun. 24th, 2008 05:33 pmI don't think I've ever posted about it but I have a surgery planned for a year or two that's scheduled for tomorrow. It's an upper and lower jaw surgery along with a minor chin surgery. So after this 6-hour surgery, I get those titanium plates and screws in my mouth along with looking like a wrestler with a facemask, feeling like puffer fish with big lips, and unconsciously drooling out the side of my mouth. XD So basically, I'll look like crap and feel like crap for a long while. asfhjah;g Great.
And I've been trying to stuff my face with food these last few days 'cause I'm sure going to miss it. D: And to think, this is how the conversation went with my surgeon:
Dr. B: "You can get pretty inventive with a blender." *hands a pamphlet with 500 blender recipes*
Betty: "Oh.. thanks."
I'm so serious, there's even a Barbeque Soup. Yes. And the recipe includes barbeque sauce. Sounds delicious, doesn't it? T__T I'm so not trying that one out.
But anyway, I'll be bedridden at the hospital most likely until Friday; I'll be moody and apparently I'll be put on something that makes me high too for a little bit. Haha. I thought about planning a list of things to watch when I get home (because it's one of the few things I could do without moving my mouth). But then I realized Shukudai-kun will be the death of me. Who the heck decided that they were going to incorporate food into every variety show. OH, JAPAN. Watching them look so happy eating food will just make me cry. LOL. Not to mention, it'll hurt every time I laugh. Maybe I should just sit and watch sad movies for a week or two.
Anyway! That's a long-winded explanation of why I won't be LJ-ing for a week at least, maybe. T_T
