Hi, it's me. The one who hasn't written an entry in a month and is doing as poorly in commenting to entries and replies, yeaah. XD It's mainly because my life hasn't been very interesting lately. But today is someone's birthday! &hearts
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
morimoli!!
Hope you have a fab-tastic one! :D And I haven't had the time to make a small graphic like I usually do for birthdays so please enjoy this drabble instead! ;o;
And a small apology to anyone else who reads this. I really don't write often!
Life is hard when it comes to baggage and grinding
Nino trudged in, his expression more puzzled than usual.
"I don't see how anyone -- I --"
"What in the world are you going on about, Nino?" Jun's tone rang with annoyance as he turned his head. He didn't probe further because something else caught his eye. Something more important. Something more vital to all of humankind.
"BAGS. YOU HAVE BAGS. IT'S HORRENDOUS."
"I was -- Okay, okay, I'll cover them up." Nino reluctantly began to apply foundation beneath his eyes before Jun's own pair shot lasers that pierced further into his skin. That wasn't what terrified Nino though, it was the fact that Matsumoto Lasers were a magnificent shade of royal purple. And they were sparkly. Nice beam, he thought.
Nino continued, "I just don't understand how someone can figure out who I am when I'm playing an online game. 'Nino?' they said. How can this person see through me? Me!"
Jun's face twitched as it came clear to him that it was gaming that ruined his facial appearance. Nino sighed into a yawn, perfectly in time with a yawning Ohno that entered the dressing room.
The next day, Jun found the pair crouched in a corner with their laptops.
Ohno gave him a bright smile. "Jun-kun, you should join us. It's fun." Before Jun could piece together how Nino got over yesterday so quickly, Ohno continued. "You can help Nino spawn enemies. While he loots."
From behind them Nino whined, "I'll never get past level 42!"
Ohno added, towards Jun, "Never mind, make that while he continues grinding."
"Did someone say grinding?!" From the doorway, the bright gleam coming from Aiba's general area was too much for Jun's morning.
Jun retreated to the seat beside Sho, the older one automatically handing him a section of the newspaper. "Maybe this will help."
A hand accepted the newspaper while the other grabbed Sho's coffee.
"I'm gonna need more than newspaper for this," Jun remarked. Sho returned the tired smile.
