I just spent a good 4 hours of my life working on a Spanish project that didn't turn out that great. ;____; WHY, Señor B, must you consistently torture us?! These projects aren't worth it! I mean, if you had me translate an Arashi song to Spanish or something, I'd gladly listen to that song repeatedly. XD
I also had a district choir event on Saturday that I attended, where you rehearse for 7 hours and then hold the concert. Oh man, was I wiped out. Saturday mornings are for sleeping in! >< But anyway, our director was quite interesting though. XD He claims to be the only Japanese choir director in the state of Kansas but who knows. :P I think I was the only one who giggled everytime he yelled, "ARUTOS, measure 24." Or something to that extent. He was also trying to get us on the topic of Japanese people and animations by pointing out Sailor Moon and Pokemon. XD Somehow, he got to talking about tattoos and how his student almost got a Japanese tattoo that said "Prostitute" and was relieved that she checked with him. His wife has also seen a person with a Japanese tattoo on their shoulder that said Toilet. XD That's definitely incredible. I would surely not want to walk around with that kind of tattoo. His wise words of the day: Before you get an oriental tattoo, always double-check it with a native.
One of the songs that we sang was Hotaru Koi, which I loved. <3 This girl who stood next to me confessed after the concert that without me, she wouldn't have been able to say a single word. XDD Poor girl.
