midoriThis weekend was HECTIC. I attended a leadership scholarship competition for $48,000 that I know I'm not going to get, without knowing what I was getting into. It was the most exhausting Saturday I ever spent. Not to mention that it was torture, and I didn't do well at all. :( I also missed a turn on the way home because I was on unfamiliar streets but it was all good, I just took the long way home. XD
On a good note though, I burned the 2006 Asia Song Festival onto discs to watch with my family. A big part of doing that was because of Arashi (:DD!) but also because there was a singer from Vietnam too. Although she wasn't that great. >_> We were actually extremely disappointed because she only sang one verse in Vietnamese and the rest in terrible English. I couldn't make out the words at all! And then she started to do weird vocal 'ah~s' like she ran out of lyrics or something and made weird movements. >< It was embarrassing to watch.
Anyway, right after her was Arashi (thank god!) and my sister was explaining to my aunt how I love this boy band and there's one I especially like. More like I'm in LOVE with. XDD We won't tell her that though. And she was like, "OOH, I'm gonna see if I can pick out the right one." My sister was like, "He's the one who's 24 now and looks like he's 12!" So we were watching and Nino BARELY got any airtime. Darn those cameramen for the festival! I was annoyed how they kept showing the audience. WHO CARES ABOUT THE AUDIENCE. SHOW ME ARASHI DEMYU. Anyway, this is how it went with my Aunt.
Sho - Definitely not him.
Aiba - Is it him?! Oh, nevermind.
Jun - His hair is too girly.
Ohno - He looks too old.
Nino - IT'S HIM.
Well, by the time they showed Nino, my aunt would have figured it was him anyway. XDD Yay, Nino! I love them all though. <3 My aunt also thought they needed a new fashion designer. (LOL!) They were wearing the pink outfits with the bright green on the inside of the jackets.
Buzz from Korea also sang there and when I watched I had no clue who he was. My aunt pointed out that he acts too. So I showed my mom and asked if she knew who he was and she was like, "OH, yeah yeah!" Tension Up! Lol. She watches korean/chinese dramas 24/7. It's no figure. XD
