How to not quite bait a friend into Arashi.

I have this friend who I recently got addicted to jdramas. How it all happened:

She started to like DBSK because of another friend of hers and I was like, "Man, I gotta work some Arashi magic and get her to like Arashi too!" One more fan's always better, right? So I asked her if she wanted to watch some jdramas, and she replied, "Sure." What else would bait anyone in but good 'ol Hanadan! So I let her borrow the first season, and it took her a week to actually watch the first episode. T_T But then she finally did and she LOVED IT. However, instead of getting jun-baited, she got shun-baited. XDD She likes the "hot and mysterious Hanazawa Rui." She thinks Matsujun is funny but Oguri Shun is too beautiful and pitiful that she feels sorry for him. LOL. She did rewind and watch the sad parting between Doumyouji and Makino a million times though. XDD She even made copies of both seasons for herself.

Plan B. Let's try to get her baited with the other members! I whooped out my absolute favorite drama of all time that I've watched more times than I can count, Yamataro! This drama never fails to make me tear up. I told her how much I loved Nino and it turns out she likes Sho more. Not that I'm complaining. XD We watched the first episode together with my sister and my sister kept cracking up again each time she sees the cool Mimura Takuya because she knows Sho's nothing like him. HAHAHA. My friend says he has a creepy smile so she thinks he's hot when he doesn't smile. XD She still likes Oguri Shun more though, I sadly admit.

I dropped off Hanakimi at her house today because Shun's in it and she's already half-way done yo. To her, it's definitely Ikemen Paradise. XDDD I wonder how she'd react to Shun in Binbo Danshi. HAHA. Everytime she finishes a drama, I get a text like, "Betty, get the next drama ready, I'm almost finished with this one." LOL. What have I done to create such an addict? I was thinking of getting her into some Arashi variety shows but I don't know where to start. I don't want her to get confused or lose interest. >_<; She does have a few songs on her Ipod so I could start with some performances. HMM. Well, I'll see.

On another note, a new season of dramas! Last Friends keeps me at the edge of my seat with cliffhangers. T_T! Ryo really plays his part well. I cringe every time Nagasawa gets hurt though. D: It hurts me in the heart. Why, Ryo, whyy?! And Ueno Juri, so cool! *__* I downloaded Zettai Kareshi and was ready to flail but my sister said I can't watch it without her because she really wants to watch this one for some reason. So flailing that will have to come later. :(

I really like Shun in HYD, but other than that, he's really NOT THAT HOT in my opinion. =P I have sooo many friends that are crazy for him, and I totally don't understand why. O___O I've seen Hana Kimi, but I watched it for Mizushima Hiro. Hahaha. But Shun's acting is pretty good, not bad at all.

That's funny how you're trying to get her into a certain member and it always turns out to be the different one. LOL. I've show my friends HYD as well, they all love it. I showed my white friend "Yama Taro" and she loves that one too! :D She thinks Nino is cute.

I'm currently watching 7 dramas at the moment. 1 Cantonese drama, 3 American dramas, Hokaben, Absolute Boyfriend, and Last Friends. I have so much to catch up on. Oh my godness, I'm gonna go crazy. XDDD Coz school is taking up a huge part of my time, too.

XD Yeah, I agree. I think it's the orangy-blonde hair that works for him. But my friend still likes him in Hanakimi so I guess it's all good. I read the manga first and loved it and I still think someone better could have played Sano. :/ But yeah, he's still a pretty good actor.

Oh man, I totally understand. School's just sucking up our time. T___T!

Oh the Shun bait XDDD Apa and I started talking about all this Japanese stuff because of Shun. She posted a review on Hanadan and I realized I had someone to talk to about this in class.

maybe you should start out with some arashi dramas after HYD like YTM. I was Arashi-baited because of Shun so there's still hope for the Shun fans out there and for you who's trying to take her in the fandom.

Shun in Binbo Danshi was .... -__- Seriously. I didn't like it but I did like it because Haru was there. ^____^ *cheers*

HEEEEY me and my friend recently baited our friends too!! i totally agree with the hanadan thing, it works like magic! well... one was shun-baited, one was OKAMI-SAN-BAITED(?!?!), one was jun-baited WHICH of course led to arashi obsession muahaha *pats self on back*, and one watched meteor garden (tw version of hyd) like a million times and wouldn't watch hyd until we kinda just stuffed her the hyd dvds, NOW SHE'S "UNDECIDED" (whatever we all know she secretly has the hots for domyouji)!! YOSHAAA!! we're gonna watch the time concert soon, even some of the sidetracked-baited ones want to watch with us (OH it's only a matter of time)~ OH my frd bought freestyle a couple of weeks ago (IN NORTH AMERICA IN AN ACTUAL STORE! I KNOW EH? IT WAS THE LAST (ONLY?) ONE!) and i saw it. SO PROUD OF RIIDA!!! *kuma hug* newaaaay continue spreading the arashi rabu-rabu and hope u'll have an awesome summer? (or school?) xD

Sometimes it's not *that* bad not to get your friend to join the Arashi fandom because I kind of REGRETTED doing so for my own friend.. I think my love for Arashi had too much of an influence on her because not only does she like like likeeee Arashi now, she also got my Nino-love bug and is starting to fangirl over my ichiban!!!!!!!!!! Not only that, she WANTS TO SNATCH HIM AWAY FROM ME NOW. :'(
Now I don't know if getting my friend to like Arashi's a good thing or not.. :(

Uwaah, I've never thought of it that way. I've always wanted someone to flail with (other than my sister) since it seems like there are no other fans near me. And well, spreading the fandom's always a good thing. I actually haven't talked to that friend in a while though, but it seems she doesn't seem interested anyway.

I never imagined a result like your friend though. D: To go as far as to snatch your ichiban (who's also mine XD) away! That's just crazy. :(
