So this has gone on for years. Once a month, my dad makes me check his credit card bills and hand-shred all of the receipts. The first couple of months, I've started complaining that a paper shredder could easily take care of those receipts without wasting my time. I learned to give up after my dad continuously comes up with excuses like, "You need to exercise your hands once in a while." or "We'll wait until a paper shredder goes on sale." ..Right. And then today. He hands me a huge-ass stack of documents and wanted me to rip them. I was like, "Are you kidding me?!! adghdlajgh! Paper shredder! Please!" ><; So I sat with a trash can and started to shred them with my hands, thinking why the heck we don't just buy a freakin' paper shredder. After I did five documents, he comes over and says, "Nevermind. I'll just buy a paper shredder 'cause there's like a ton more documents I was gonna have you shred but I don't think that would go very well." OMGYES. THANK YOU.
Lol, my life is very sad.
Gokusen 3: Finished the series a few minutes ago~. I love how for a bunch of juvenile delinquents, they weren't very juvenile delinquent-like. Haha. They were actually quite a cute class. ^^ Things I will miss:
- Yankumi never fails to rescue the boys. Why? Because it's always at the same warehouse.
- The amazing amount of blush they apply to the boys every time they get hurt.
- Hearing my sister complain every time Oretachi no Seishun starts playing. For some reason, it annoys the heck out of her. XDD
- Yankumi's battle speech. "I'm their homeroom teacher." *takes out pigtails and glasses and tosses them to the side* *flips hair* FIGHT ON. Wait, does she pick up her glasses after each fight?
- The chalkboard changing each episode.
- The CUTE watermelon-painted door. How juvenile is that?
- Haru. Only he could pull off a half-braided, half-skunk-like hairstyle. Only Haru.
- Takaki's ability to look so girly in each episode. :)
- Kuma. But I see him in Maou anyway so I won't miss him too much. :D
So wait, do they actually graduate? Does that matter? HAHA.
Code Blue Episode 01: So far it's something like:
"I want to be a flight doctor with my own skills. *brimming with utter confidence*"
"Aw man, she got to ride the heli, today."
"AGH I FAIL AT BEING A DOCTOR. *EMO*"
XDD. I do hope the storyline gets more interesting. I was never too much of a Gakki or Toda fan so I hope they deliver! I do like that one guy's (that I recognize from Rookies) character. I almost teared up when the girl was heading into the operation. ;_;
Several movies I watched with friends:
10,000 B.C. - It couldn't capture my attention for a whole two minutes. We ended up playing Scrabble while the movie played in the background. XDD I still don't know what that movie was about.
Next - Just when I thought the movie was getting good, BAM. TERRIBLE ENDING. Who in their right mind ends a movie like that? Really.
Vantage Point - A couple of my friends said they didn't like it. I personally LOVED IT. Sure, it's annoying how they reach an event with a certain viewpoint and then REWIND, LET'S GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. And you're like, "Wha? I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED." And it does that like five times, but it's so interesting. XDD I guess I like movies that make you think and wonder yourself? And the two misunderstood Spanish guys that ended up dying. SO SAD. T_T
OH, HnA-chan download finished! *runs off to watch childminder Jun & Nino*

Yay, freedom! Not so much of paper cuts but plenty of dry hands. XD
Calm down, woman! XDDD I'm feeling a lot better! Still a bit puffed up in the cheeks so I'm hoping the swelling goes down soon. And I've upgraded to mashed potatoes now using a teaspoon! LOL. So my daily meals consist of mashed potatoes, soup, and a milkshake. Now that I type this, I realized I have no variety at all. H-haha.

Date: 2008-07-11 05:06 am (UTC)I'm watching ep 10 now! lol And yeah it's cheesy XD I always wonder if her glasses ever get broken or something. I mean...she throws it somewhere else every time. Oh and personally, would having your hair tied be better to fight rather than having hair in your eyes?? XD
OOoh I'm glad you're better! Mashed potatoes are good lol At least you're gradually progressing. XD Variety will come soon enough, don't worry! loool Hang in there eh!

Date: 2008-07-11 05:17 am (UTC)Seriously! It makes no sense, whatsoever! XDD She fights, and then the next scene she's magically back to her old glasses-wearing pigtails self. Those glasses must be made of some strong material, or something!
Maybe letting her hair down is a way of distracting the guys while she makes her speech. HAHA.

Date: 2008-07-11 04:55 am (UTC)10000 B.C. my friend said that she likes it. It's a love story or some sort. I love the leading actress, Camilla Belle, she's so pretty. I need to watch that in the future.
And your paper shredder story totally made me laugh! XD You guys are silly.
Oh and Code Blue... I still need to watch first episode. Yamapi looks really cute in that.

XD I guess my frustration got to him somehow! It really wouldn't have been a problem if he just bought the shredder a long time ago. ;D

Date: 2008-07-13 10:51 pm (UTC)It's kind of funny you posted about this because I happened to be reading a blog the other day that had tips and tricks the Japanese use to save space. They said don't go out and buy a paper shredder - it only leaves you with more piles of paper! So what do you do to get rid of your unwanted documents & receipts? Stick them in a nylon stocking, then throw them in the washing machine! ^^ I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say how well it works, but it sounded like a pretty cheap & reasonable alternative.
Glad to hear you're doing better with eating too! Mashed potatoes were a big favorite of mine when I was recovering. :D

Date: 2008-07-13 11:54 pm (UTC)You know, with all the things I've learned from D no Arashi, I'm not surprised at all that Japan would come up with several ways to do anything and everything. Now I'm curious to know what happens to 'em in the washing machine! I know when I leave receipts in my pocket, it shrivels. Hmm.
