My dad is so weird. And his english (or I should say, lack of) is funny. Did I mention he can't spell?

Dad: (what I heard) I need to go buy some clams after dinner.
Me: You really crave clams or something, dad?
Sis: He means clamps [for the car].
Me: OH. Clamps, dad.
Dad: Clam. ClamPUH! Is that better? *laughs and repeats ClamPUH about five more times*
Me:
Me: Yes. XD Much better, dad.

My dad had to talk to some T-Mobile associate on the phone for 'Change of Responsibility' because our phones were all under my mom's name. So anyway. The poor guy had to go through my dad's rough accent. And I had to sit and help translate anything my dad didn't understand. So I listened while the phone conversation (that could have been 10 minutes), lasted for about 30.

[On the phone]
Dad: Do you think you can process my company discount too?
Associate: Sure, I'll do what I can.
Dad: OH THANK YOU. I appreciate it very much. Whassyo name? (He asks this every time someone is very helpful.)
Associate:
Associate: Excuse me?
Dad: Whassyo name? Your name?
Associate: Caleb.
Dad: Ca..reppu?
Associate: *nervous laugh*
Dad: *obliviously laughs along*
Me: *facepalms*


My car is parked outside so the snow and ice builds up on it during winter. My dad left this note on the counter for my sister and I so we could wake up to it and well.. if it wasn't for the ice scrapers he left by it, I might not have understood. LOL.

Hmm...this wasn't exactly the post I had originally planned to comment on, but the title intrigued me. XD;; Dads can be so funny sometimes and your dad is obviously no exception! LOL

Firstly, I'd like to apologize. I feel like a total schmuck for not commenting until now, but the Christmas break wasn't exactly a vacation for me and I ended up having to take a mini hiatus from the internets for a while. ><;;

I was so busy that I didn't even get a chance to mail out all the Christmas cards I bought! :( I was pretty pissed about that, since I spent quite a bit on materials for the cards I was making. -__-; Actually, the worst of it was when I started receiving cards from the 5x5 traders. I felt horrible for not sending any out when I said I would! DX I am definitely going to try and make it up to everyone though! ^^;;

Speaking of cards, yours was one of my favorites - especially the collage!! ♥♥♥ XDD I absolutely love collages (and I'm not just saying that!), I used to make them all the time! Ah, to have that kind of free time again... LOL

When I received your card I was totally stressing out over finals and some family stuff, but the message you wrote made me feel 100 times better~ I even got a bit teary while reading it! X33

I also want to say thank you. Despite having known me for only a short time, you've treated me as though we've been friends for ages. Thank you for being such a sweet and wonderful friend - don't ever change! ♥ *massive bear hug*

This will be a little long. ARE YOU READY?! :

Go to SELECT JOURNAL STYLE.
- Change your theme to "Grays," a Flexible Squares theme.
- (Optional) Change Ad Placement to Between Entries. (I personally prefer this because it makes ads much smaller and less noticeable. :D But you can keep it horizontal if you like.)
- Change sidebar to 2 Column (Sidebar on Right).

Then go to CUSTOMIZE JOURNAL STYLE.
- Click on STYLE and change the colors so it matches with this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/kulish/layout/colors1.png) and this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/kulish/layout/colors2.png) and save changes. (This part affects the colors of the ads.)
- Now go to CUSTOM CSS and select NO for all of the dropdown boxes. Then save this css (http://www.mediafire.com/?kdzid2otyyf) and copy the text and paste it all into the Custom Stylesheet box.

Aaaand, I think that's it! I also tested it out at my layout testing lj at skippymints that I used earlier for the layout at arashi_on (that will poof in like, a day ;_;) if you wanted to see your layout beforehand. Let me know if you have any problems or need any darker colors. I know it's still really light. I'll change the css pronto. :DD

And your comments on everything makes me feel warm and squishy, Suvi. I definitely don't mind at all doing any of this for you. &hearts &hearts And the spacey header won't be abandoned; I'll just offer it up at my graphics comm. :D Ahaha.
