midoriSo summer government isn't all that bad. I thought it'd be a terribly long 3.5 hours a day but it actually goes by at a nice rate. The driving is crazy though. It's about 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back from my house. Eesh, there goes my gas. And so far I've gotten an A on every assignment which is great. After my report card this last semester, I'm gonna need all the A's I can get.
Good thing is that we get a field trip! To the city courthouse of all places. My dad showed me the way today but it still won't be the same. I don't like going downtown. I don't like one-way streets. I'm not even a good driver.
I've ordered my ice cream cake for my birthday party Friday. It'll be exactly the same as last year's though. XD I'm so unoriginal. Tomorrow I still have to order the Chinese food too. Mm, lo mein.
I also wanted to get a part-time job this summer after government, but sadly I'm most likely going to intern at my optometrist's office. Gotta think about my future but money sounds really good. T_T
My parents and I also stopped by my oral surgeon's office to get the 411 on my surgery date. I was supposed to have it done this summer. That got delayed to either Thanksgiving break or Christmas break. Now I find out that next summer is a more "realistic option." Gah, I wanted this over and done with. This pretty much canceled our plans of going back to Vietnam next year.Family trip.
