Government is over! I ended up with a 95% in that class. Sweet, and it never got down to a B. I wish she was a teacher at our school. Me and my friend's project got a one-hundo. :D The five extra hours we spent on it paid off. She was also concerned about my friend's 89% and gave her extra credit to bring it up. My teachers have never done that. We ended up eating fast-food Thursday and Friday after class.

So Friday was disappointing. That water park thing didn't work out I guess. No one ever called to notify me so nothing happened. No pizza party either. Bleh. My friends are terrible at planning stuff I guess.

Played tennis with my cousin today. Oh god, it was hot today.

I feel like I talk about the same things each time I type an entry. My tags are always the same. Really boring summer I'm having.

Watched 12 Angry Men in Government today. It actually was interesting once we got past the first few minutes. It was just incredibly long. All that's left to do in that class is a final which is an ABC-book project. Yay, hopefully that'll be easy enough.

On the way home from school, I figured I'd miss mindlessly driving there with my friend. She said we should go eat somewhere afterwards on our last day. :D Looking forward to that. I've become such a better driver thanks to this class.

Last Friday, I worked a good chunk of the day (4 hours) on a class project with my friend. We presented yesterday and got an A. 95% Baby! I would have been pissed if we didn't. T_T The poster ended up taking so much longer than everyone else's powerpoints.

Today, we went to the county courthouse for a class field trip. We got to sit in on a rape court case which was somewhat exciting. I was afraid we'd sit in some boring traffic case. They weren't sure if it was rape or consensual and we didn't stay for that long to find out either. Our teacher's going to call them later to find out the verdict. The judge was excited that the class was sitting in to watch; I guess it doesn't happen that often. We also found out that our teacher's afternoon class's field trip was canceled because they were misbehaving. Haha, that makes me glad I took the morning class.

These days I've been watching j-drama everyday. Haha. I've already finished Tokyo Friends + movie, Backdancers! movie, and the Lovely Complex movie. One more episode of 14 Sai no Haha and I'll be done with that too. 14 Sai no Haha's so dramatic in a good way. I've also been watching Proposal Daisakusen, Nodame Cantabile, and Bambino!.

So I've been going to park almost everyday to play tennis. It's amazing but almost everyday I see someone I know. My cousin tells me it's an asian park because of all of the asians that show up there. :o Somehow I've never noticed before.

Summer

So summer government isn't all that bad. I thought it'd be a terribly long 3.5 hours a day but it actually goes by at a nice rate. The driving is crazy though. It's about 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back from my house. Eesh, there goes my gas. And so far I've gotten an A on every assignment which is great. After my report card this last semester, I'm gonna need all the A's I can get.

Good thing is that we get a field trip! To the city courthouse of all places. My dad showed me the way today but it still won't be the same. I don't like going downtown. I don't like one-way streets. I'm not even a good driver.

I've ordered my ice cream cake for my birthday party Friday. It'll be exactly the same as last year's though. XD I'm so unoriginal. Tomorrow I still have to order the Chinese food too. Mm, lo mein.

I also wanted to get a part-time job this summer after government, but sadly I'm most likely going to intern at my optometrist's office. Gotta think about my future but money sounds really good. T_T

My parents and I also stopped by my oral surgeon's office to get the 411 on my surgery date. I was supposed to have it done this summer. That got delayed to either Thanksgiving break or Christmas break. Now I find out that next summer is a more "realistic option." Gah, I wanted this over and done with. This pretty much canceled our plans of going back to Vietnam next year. Family trip.
